At the time of visit, and confirmed through staff statements, a child enrolled in Pre-K became upset when playing with other children and ran out of the classroom into the hallway. The door to the classroom was propped open. Staff state the child has done this before and the classroom teacher does not like to have the door shut demonstrating a lack of judgment and knowledgeable decision-making. This is a violation of stipulation E on the probationary license. Probationary stipulation E states "All staff shall demonstrate knowledge of, interest in, and concern for children’s proper care and wellbeing."
