Per video footage, on November 13, 2024, a staff member in North America (Rm 3) used corporal punishment when a child, age 16 months, was standing on a cot during nap time. The staff member picked the child up by their upper arms and laid them face down, causing the child to hit their face on the edge of the cot. According to collateral contacts, the incident caused an injury to the child's philtrum.
