1509.A.8a.&b.: Based on interview and record review at 12 p.m., although the center has a behavior management policy in place that prohibits physical/corporal punishment, C1, 3-years-old, was subjected to corporal punishment. From documentation and video footage reviewed, on 3/20/2026 at 1:38 p.m., S3 pinched C1 on her right wrist while redirecting her to her cot, causing C1 to cry. S3 was terminated 3/23/2026. Corrective Action: Effective 3/26/2026, S1 will retrain all staff on behavior management policy and appropriate redirection techniques to ensure compliance with this regulation.
