According to MERIT, one employee (CRC) has not completed blood borne pathogen training. She can complete it online and input the completed date into MERIT. There are a number of employees (LA, SFS, GFO, MGC, CH, and LLE) who have expired or have not taken CPR/First Aid. It needs to cover infants through adult ages and be done in person for the hands on component of both CPR/First Aid. Once completed (or if already done), these trainings need to be entered into MERIT separately for both CPR and First Aid. There are employees (LA, JF, GFO, MGC, CH, LLE, and CRC) who are required to take the 30 hours Child Care Basics who have not completed it. Safe sleep training have not been completed by a number of employees (LA, MA, VA, CDG, SFS, JF, GFO, MGC, CH, LLE, and CRC). The sand needs to be removed and new wood chips need to be purchased so that there is a minimum of 9 inches of wood chips under all climbing equipment. Staff needs to supervise children appropriately so sand is not mixed with the wood chips.
