Conditions in the home must be safe, sanitary, and free of hazards. Upon arrival, it was immediately observed that the kitchen still have the remnants of lunch, including butter still out, eggs, pancakes, etc. Dirty dishes were piled. Provider indicated that lunch was between 1130-1230, however inspection occurred at 2:30 p.m. An open alcohol bottle was observed on the counter, however there was no indication that this had been consumed during child care hours. Lori placed in an upper cabinet during inspection. The basement area where children were sleeping had paint cans and power tools accessible due to some home renovations that are happening.
