Child care personnel did not comply with the facility's written disciplinary and expulsion policies. CCF Handbook, Section 2.8, B General Requirements [SR] A staff member was accused of treating children harshly in the toddler classroom in order to get the child to sleep. A staff members leg was placed over the child and the child's head was pushed onto the cot several times. The staff member was removed from the program until an investigation is complete. The CCF Handbook states that children must not be subject to discipline which is severe, humiliating, severe, frightening, or associated with food, rest, or toileting.

Child care personnel, including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month did not complete the required in-service training during the states fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.7 Training [SR] The staff member noted on the attached supplemental form did not complete in-service for the 2022-2023 program year. The CCF Handbook states that staff must complete a minimum of 10 in-service hours each year beginning July 1 and ending June 30.

The personnel/ volunteer (ten hours or more per month) record did not include a CF-FSP 5337 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Requirements form signed annually. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4, C Record Keeping [SR] 5 staff members did not have an updated Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Form available for review. The staff members did sign forms during this inspection putting this facility back in compliance. The staff member's names are recorded on the supplemental form. The CCF Handbook states that Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Forms must be signed on or before the hire date and annually thereafter by all child care personne.
