Why this rating
This daycare earned 4 out of 5 stars overall. Structural quality reflects an 84% violation rate and a license in good standing. The structural rating also includes California's licensing baseline — what every licensed daycare in the state must meet. California caps infant ratios at 1:4, toddler ratios at 1:6, and preschool ratios at 1:12. Lead teachers must hold a High School Diploma. Annual training isn't required by the state. No objective process measures (e.g., state quality rating or national accreditation) are available for this daycare. The overall rating reflects structural features only.

Based on LPA's observation, there was dirt, debris and stains on the carpet inside the classrooms where children play. A spot the size of a baby car seat was observed on one of the rugs, while other rugs had multiple stains. These stains were brownish-black in color. There was a restroom in the preschool classroom that has a soiled bag of trash on the floor, immediately to the right of the door. There was also poop smeared on the toilet paper dispenser, which had no toilet paper in it. No toilet paper was observed in 2 out of 4 of the children's restrooms. The tables and floors do not look like they have been wiped down and are sticky to the touch.
