Corrective Action: Effective 4/10/2025 S1, stated she will retrain staff regarding this regulation to ensure compliance with this regulation.

Based on observations at 10:45 a.m., S1 failed to ensure items that can be harmful to children, such as poisons and chemicals as well as plastic bags that were not in use were not kept in a locked cabinet or other secure place that ensures they are inaccessible to children. The Specialists observed plastic bags that were not in use in a low, unlocked cabinet in reach of children in both infant classrooms, a large, open bag of insecticide and an open bag of flea killer was in an open shed on the centers play yard while several children played on the play yard. Based on interview at 12:00 p.m., the manufacturer's restraint device failed to be used when C1, age 9 months, was placed in the high chair by S5 on 4/7/2025 causing C1 to from the high chair to the floor. Corrective Action: Effective 4/10/2025, S1 stated reminders were placed in that area to remind staff to utilize restraints to ensure compliance with this regulation.
