Why this rating
This daycare earned 4 out of 5 stars overall. Structural quality reflects a 20% violation rate and a license in good standing. The structural rating also includes California's licensing baseline — what every licensed daycare in the state must meet. California caps infant ratios at 1:4, toddler ratios at 1:6, and preschool ratios at 1:12. Lead teachers must hold a High School Diploma. Annual training isn't required by the state. No objective process measures (e.g., state quality rating or national accreditation) are available for this daycare. The overall rating reflects structural features only.

Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Child #1 (C1) was left without visual supervision of a teacher when they went into the restroom alone and closed the door. Children were also briefly left under the supervision of a volunteer on the playground which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. POC Due Date: 03/06/2025
