1903.E.5 Based on observation at 11:30 AM, S1 failed to ensure the outdoor play space was enclosured with a permanent fence or other permanent barrier in a manner that protects children from traffic hazards, prevents children from leaving the premises without proper supervision, and prevents contact with animals or unauthorized persons. The Specialist observed a zip-tie on the play yard gate. A new gate has been ordered. Corrective Action: Effective 4/14/2026, S1 stated she will check the gate daily prior to allowing the children out on the play yard, to ensure compliance with regulation.

C.: Based on record review at 11:15 a.m., S1 failed to have current documentation of training for a minimum of two staff members trained in medication administration completed with an approved Child Care Health Consultant. Training is required every two years and S2, S3, S4 and S5's training expired 3/30/2025. Corrective Action: Effective 5/14/2025, S1 stated she will have staff complete medication administration training on EC Learn to ensure compliance with this regulation.
