1711.A.&B.&D&G. Based on observation at 12:15 p.m., S1 failed to meet the required child to staff ratio for children ages 1 to 2-years-old. The required ratio for children ages 1 to 2-years-old is 7 children per 1 staff person. The specialists observed S2, alone, with 17 children, ages 1 to 2-years-old. Four children were laying down on the mat, while 13 children waited in line for S2 to instruct them where to go. Two additional staff was needed to satisfy child to staff ratio. 1713.C. Based on observation and interviews at 12:05 p.m., S1 failed to ensure all children were under supervision at all times. The Specialist observed three children, ages 1âyear-old, laying down on their mats, alone and unsupervised in the classroom. S4 stated the teacher was in the restroom. Supervision was met at 12:10 p.m. when S1 came in the classroom. Corrective Action: Effective 1/15/2026, S1 stated she will go in the classroom with the children if the staff need to leave out to ensure compliance with this regulation.
